| Day 01: KTM – ZHANGMU (2300M). Meeting at nature trail trekking office at 5:30 am . For an approx. 6hrs. Drive to Kodari, friendship bridge ( Nepal / china border). On a clear morning enroute, one will get a clear view of Mt Langtang, Mt. Gaurishankar , Mt. Melingtse and Khumbu Himal. After completion of custom and immigration check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02: ZHANGGMU – XEGAR (4350m) – 244kms. From Zhangmu the road follows the deep valley of Bhote koshi river with lots of waterfalls. After 2:5 hrs' drive reach Nylam pass (3800m) viewing Jugal Himal. Continue driving via lalung la (5050m) viewing other mountain range like Mt. Langrang (7245m), mt. Xicxapangma (8013m), mt. Dorje kakpa (6980m), mt. Makalu (8464m), Mt. Everest (8848m), Mt. Lotse (8501m), Mt. Cho oyu (8200m). overnight at hotel.
Day 03: XEGAR – XIGATSE (3900m), - - 244km. Lhatze is 03 hrs, way over a 5220m. pass near the petrol station, there is a small restaurant where snacks are available. Depending upon the road conditions, SAKYA MONASTERY WHICH IS 26KM. off the main road we will visit one of the oldest and most important BNPO monasteries. Reach CIGATSE, the place of the famous TASHILUMPO MONASTERY and the seat of pachen lama until his death in 1989 with its huge thanka wall clearly visible on the north side of the road. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04: cigatse – gyantse (3950m). After visiting tashilumpa monastery in the morning including bazaar of zigatse, drive to gyantse which is 2 hrs. gyantse is a small bustling town steeped in history. It lies 264 kms, southwest of lhasa on the northern bank of the nyang chu river. In the 15 th century it served as the cvapital of a smnall kingdom. We will visit kumbum chorten which was built around 1400 AD. It later became the main center for trade with british India. Over night at hotel.
Day 05: GYANTSE – LHASA (3650m) 8 hrs, drive takes you to lhasa , crossing the karo la pass (5010m), and the kamba la pass (4794m). the karo la climbs between two lofty mountains, nozing khang sa (7223m) and ralung (6236m). while driving tou will swee yamdrok tso (turquoise lake) which takes approx 1 hour to choss. After passing kamba la, lhasa valley is seen to the north. You will cross the brahmaputra river, reach lhasa and check in at hotel. The accompanied guide will reconfirm your onward airline ticket. Over light at hotel.
Day 06 & 07: IN LHASA . During this time you will have a guided you're of the potala palace, the jokhang temple, and the surrounding barkhor market and the drepung and sera monasteries. Overnight at hotel.
Day 08: LHASA – kathmandu. In the morning after breakfast, transfer to airport which takes 2 hrs. Representative will assist you. Departure of flight for Kathmandu will be approx. 10 am china standard time and arriving in Kathmandu at 9 am Nepal standard time. The flight from Lhasa to Kathmandu takes 01 hrs. 10 minutes. During the flight you will see the following: Yarling Tsangpo river. Lake Yamdork , Kanchenjunga (8586m) and Makalu (8463m) and Everest (8848m), weather permitting.
