Itinerary
Day 01 Kathmandu/Zanmu / Neyalam(3600m)/150km: Drive to kodari(China/Nepal border),Half and hour Zhangmu,where afer completion of immigration formalitied we drive further to Neylam following hotekoshi river in a deep valley with some overflowing waterfalls. Overnight in guesthouse.
Day 02 Neylam/Tingri/Lhatse(4050m)-285kms.
Drive through the Neylam Pass(3800m)with the view of jugal himal.A countinied drive via Lalungla Pass(5150m) has some of the outstanding view of Mt,Xixapangma(8013m)highest in Tibet, Mt. Makalu, Mt. Lhotse(8516m), Mt. Cho Oyu(8201m) and Mt. Everest(8848m). Overnight in guesthouse.
Day 03 Lhatse/Xigatse(3900m) /90kms: Drive to Xigatse,the place of the famous Tashilumpo Monastery and the seat of the panchen Lama. Overnight at hotel Samdrupse or similar slandered.
Day 04 Xigatse/ Gyantse(3950m)/90kms: After visiting Tashilumpo Monastrey in the morning including thebazzar of Xigatse. Drive to Ghantse,which is the two hours. Gyantse is the small busting town steeped in history. It lies 264kms southwest of Lhasa on the north bank of Nyang Chu river. In the fifteen sentury it served a capital of small kingdom. Visit Kumbum Chorten which was built around 1400 AD. It later became the main center for trade with British India.Overnight in hotel.
Day 05 Gyantse/ Lhasa(3650m)261kms: Drive eight hours take you to a Lhasa crossing the Karo La Pass(5010m) and Khambala Pass(4794m). The Karo La climbs between two lofty mountains,Nozing Khang sa(7222m) and ralung(6236). while driving you will see the Yamdrok Tsko (Turquoise Lake)which takesapprox one hours crossing round.After passing Khambala Lhasa valley is seen to the north. You will aso cross the Brahmaputra River. Reaching Lhasa and check into hotel. The accompanied guide will reconfirm your onward airline ticket. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 06&07 in Lhasa: These days you will be engrossed with sightseeing and excursions of the Potala Place the Jokhang temple, surrounding Barkhor market, Drepung Monastery and Sera monastery .Overnight in hotel.
Day 08 & 09 Lhasa / Xining (by train).
Day 10 Xining / Peking(by air )
